The questions in her mind often distracted her from what was right in front of her eyes. The fact that there were two beds in the room she was sleeping in should have told her that Aunt Myrlie must have had children. Children who would have given her clues to the mystery. She did however, find out where she was from a newspaper lying about and also that her aunt had a husband. She discovered this fact one day as she took a walk in the town square, and there it was! Clearly written on a memorial stone. With keen observation Bethany would have solved the puzzle much earlier.
Bethany needs to take a deep breath and relax. The situation made Bethany overwhelmed and confused. She became rude to the people who were around her. They too were having a hard time figuring out what was going on. And all she did was make them feel worse that they were the cause of her anger. This pushed them away and yet they could have been there for her. A bit of rest always help the mind rejuvenate. All work but no rest makes Bethany an angry girl.
Asking confidently, observing keenly, and relax, are skill that would help Bethany. Asking questions will bring answers. Paying close attention to her surroundings will help her realize that the answers are closer than she thinks. Relaxing calms her down and makes her more pleasant to everyone around her.
