Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Throughout Dr. Martin Luther King’s life he helped lead the Civil Rights Movement and helped prevent hate and racism with his motivational speeches and marches. In the 1960s, there was a lot of hate between blacks and whites in the north and south but mostly in the south.
