Dr. Zakir Naik
Would you trust him enough to be in a room alone with him?

Many people would probably answer no to this question. They would assume he is a terrorist or part of a terrorist group. Why? The flaws he holds are all in how he looks. Just because he is a Muslim and people recognize that because of what he looks like, they will think harshly of him. However what they do not know is that this man’s name is Dr. Zakir Naik and he is an international speaker for Islam and the holdings of the Quran ("Dr Zakir Naik," 2014). Not only does he speak about what is inside the Quran but also he talks about all religions. He is worldly known to have impacted so many people’s lives through his public talks. With having done over 2000 of them in many different countries across the world, Dr. Zakir Naik has helped influence and win over people and help those who were once ignorant about Muslims and the religion which they follow, Islam, that it is loving and peaceful and that the Quran is pure. Although there may be people who are corrupted in the religion, not everyone is and it makes it extremely unfair and bias to categorize everyone involved with Islam as being terrorists. So Dr. Zakir Naik’s flaws are seen to be just how he presents himself and he has no control over that. He chooses to represent his religion proudly, regardless of how people see him. The millions of people who have seen him respect him and his life’s work. He has gone above and beyond to make sure people’s questions get answered and makes sure that everyone is more knowledgeable in the areas they were always in the dark about. He may be one person, but there are plenty of others just like him who have experienced the same judgments.

Wendy's offers a variety of fast food. The food selection ranges from hamburgers, French fries, salads, chicken, potatoes, and chili. Wendy's income is based on the sale of fast food. The demand of Wendy's service is highly elastic. A change in price will affect demand for products. Wendy's market structure is an oligopoly and has two main competitors; McDonalds and Burger King. In an oligopoly, the market is dominated by a few large producers of a homogeneous or differentiated product. Because of their "fewness," oligopolies have considerable control over their prices, but each must consider the possible reaction of rivals to its own pricing, output, and advertising decisions (McConnell & Brue, 2005). Since there are many substitutes, Wendy's has to be willing to keep their prices and quality of food relative to competitors.…

Dr. James Naismith attended McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to graduate as a medical doctor, primarily interested in sports physiology (sports science), and a presbyterian minister (George Laughead n.p.). Dr. Naismith started developing the idea for the game of basketball during his schooldays when he would play a game called duck-on-a-rock outside his one-room schoolhouse. The game consisted of attempting to knock the “duck” off the top of a big rock by tossing another smaller rock at it.…

His stance is supported throughout the article with the help of credible references and citations. For example, he cites a renowned social psychologist, Albert Bandura, stating that “it requires conducive social conditions rather than monstrous people to produce atrocious deeds. Given appropriate social conditions, decent, ordinary people can be led to do extraordinarily cruel things.” He constantly references different points of view and adds that some believe the roots of jihadist terrorism lie not in Islam but in the injustices of the West. I picked this article because I feel like the author, even though a professor at a western university, he doesn’t present the issue as black or white. He looks at different perspectives as he understands terrorism is a complex issue and I don’t sense a lot of bias within the…

The Super Store Limited is a holding company that consists of two main divisions, namely, The Store and Home House. The company is the largest discount toiletry, giftware, health, home and beauty products retailer in the Southern Hemisphere. By April 2012, it operated 164 stores throughout Australasia, employed over 3,000 staff and recorded a turnover in excess of threequarters-of-a-billion dollars. The Super Store Limited was first listed on the Sydney Stock Exchange in June 1989. It is 50.01% owned by Super-Store Holdings Limited. Since listing the average compound growth rate for both turnover and pretax profits has exceeded 22% per annum. In spite of the recession, The Super Store Limited experienced four years of consistent growth in revenues, operating profit and number of outlets in operation. This performance has been attributed to the two pronged growth strategy introduced by management in 2002/03. The strategy consists of two parts. Firstly, further developing and focusing the existing outlets. The Store outlets have been dramatically redesigned to provide a friendly and relaxed up-market shopping environment with a 12,000 item range of products while the Home House stores have been designed to offer a more restricted product range of 4,000 items to a lower income market segment. Currently, The Store and Home House have a weekly purchase base of approximately one million and 300,000 customers respectively. Aggressive expansion to take advantage of lower cost retail space available due to the recession is the second component of the strategy. The Store outlets on target to reach the objective of having 100 outlets and 120 Home House outlets operating throughout the state of Victoria by the mid-to-late 2010s. The early stages of this program have seen the number of stores increase from 80 to 130 for The Super Store and from 16 to 73 for Home House. Management and staff The Super Store Limited has articulated the desire to…
