Dramatic Monologue
Paige was born in March 2005. She really enjoys writing, reading, and painting. Paige loves unicorns and the colour pink. She also loves to play the ukulele.
I froze, my mouth as dry as a desert. What was I supposed to do? Eight hundred eyes were looking at me!
This all started when I received a special gift from my grandma, who’d recently passed away.
"I'm sorry about your loss," stated Sophia.
"It's okay, thanks for your concern," I sighed.
"At least she gave you something to remember her by," added Sophia.
"Yeah, she always told me it could change me," I added.
After that, we both just talked about how I’d never believed her.
That night, I thought about what my grandma had mumbled before she'd left. She’d mumbled, "It's a reward."

“Okay,” Beaver replied.
So, they started to play until Fox purposely body slammed Beaver into a stump. “Oh my, I am terribly sorry, Beaver,” Fox sorrowed.
“I’m okay,” Beaver whimpered.
“I think your two front teeth are loose,” Fox replied.
“They don’t feel loose,” Beaver said with confusion.
“They look loose,” Fox sighed.
So, Fox told Beaver a fib about the tooth fairy, and that if you pulled your loose teeth out, you would get money. Beaver immediately believe the story and convinced himself his teeth were loose to get the money. He agreed to allow Fox to pull his two front teeth out.
Fox had the biggest grin on his face. “All set, Beaver?” Fox approached.
Beaver eagerly replied, “Of course!”
So, Fox aggressively pulled as hard as he could, knowing Beaver’s teeth would never come out in a million years. Eventually, Fox pulled so hard that Beaver’s teeth stretched at least two inches longer than they already were.
Beaver was furious and yelled, “Look what you did, Fox!” He was so upset that he chased Fox and, surprisingly, caught him.
“Please, Beaver, it was an accident,” Fox sighed and begged.
