Dream- a sequence of images, emotions, and thoughts passing through a sleeping persons mind. Dreams are notable for their hallucinatory imagery, discontinuities and incongruities, and for the dreamer’s delusional acceptance of the content and later difficulties remembering it.…
No one really knows why we dream, but scientists speculate that dreams happen in the REM (random eye movement). The only thing we have right now are theories that might or might not be right. One theory is that everything that the eye saw throughout that day is sorted out throughout the dream. Another theory is that we dream to keep our brains working, as a screensaver sort of thing. One more theory is that we dream to solve…
I think that the explanation of the psychoanalytic theory of dreams is the best. We have all had dreams that are completely fantastical. There really is no purpose to them other than the fact that we, as the dreamer, think it would be fun to do. This theory makes dreaming an escape into a world where anything can…

A dream is a elated sensation of a highly valuable goal that people imagine in their mind during sleep. Sometimes dreams can affect someone's actions when they have their mindset their dream and they don't care about what's happening in reality. Which sometimes causes loneliness in their life because they are pushing people away for that one dream. Loneliness makes dreams impossible to come true like George, Lennie, and Curley's wife. They all had dreams that never came true because of loneliness.…
So what are dreams? Strictly speaking, dreams are images and imagery, thoughts, sounds and voices, and subjective sensations experienced when we sleep. This can include people you know, people you've never met, places you've been, and places you've never even heard of. Sometimes they're as mundane as recalling events that happened earlier in the day. They can also be your deepest and darkest fears and secrets, and most private fantasies. There's no limit to what the mind can experience during a dream and really no rhyme or reason to what you end up dreaming about. Stresses in waking life can manifest in dreams plainly or be cleverly disguised with imagery. For instance, a dream about a grizzly bear chasing you through your house could be the stress you feel about the relationship with a friend. A dream about being stuck inside of a room with no door might echo your feelings about a…
Since the beginning of time, the interpretation of dreams has been used as a means to provide guidance for future actions or as warnings. Some dreams are so bizarre that they have often been ascribed to the soul having an out of body experience (Tedlock, 1987). While dreams are often defined as successions of random visual images, these images are only a complement to the feeling of being absorbed into a fantasy world in which things happen, actions are carried out, people are present, and emotions are felt, a mimicry of the sensation of being awake in every way. While elaborate, mystery still surrounds the meaningfulness of dreams and how they relate to humanity in this universe.…

Many people are fascinated by dreams and dream interpretation. Some even believe that dreams contain important tips for life and can help us solve our problems. But as far as Kabbalah is concerned, a dream is nothing more than a physical phenomenon. Dreams have nothing to do with the soul or with spirituality. When we're asleep our brain processes the experiences we went through during the day and unloads som e of the impressions we have acquired. It sorts the accumulated information and stores it in our memory. That's all there is to dreams. Don’t get confused when you find references to dreams in sacred books, such as The Bib le or The Book of Zohar. Sacred books depict only the spiritual reality and the soul's development. They never talk about any events of this world. Thus, even stories that seem to talk about dreams are actually talking about spiritual discernments one makes in one's soul. For example, the term "awake" in Kabbalah refers to one who feels the Creator's Light in his soul, while "falling asleep" indicates that the Light has left his soul. When one's soul is refilled by the Light, he "wakes up" to a new day. Again, sacred books describe the spiritual states of a Kabbalist's soul. They do not talk about our physical bodies or the dream phenomenon. A Kabbalist can experience the spiritual state called "dreaming" even while physically awake. There is no connection between the soul and the physical body; the two are completely separate.…
