In the cartoon, the preacher proclaims the consequences of having no dress code in the workplace, such as how “ productivity has fallen, standards have suffered and sexual harassment is on the rise.” He tells his congregation that the way we dress sends out a message about ourselves. I believe the young adult's responses and expressions demonstrate the society now and this was added to the cartoon to show the difference of opinion and views between the present and past generations. I personally found it interesting how the cartoon illustrated the teen’s reaction to what the preacher was saying. I happen to agree with the preacher’s view of dress code. I do believe that a dress code is appropriate for work even school. Although I don’t always like it, I see the importance in it. I feel it is important because a dress code will prevent distraction; a relaxation of dress can be taken advantage of.
