Elementary School Dress Code Essay

In the school, I taught in, the dress code was laid back. Teachers in the elementary school usually wore what the students wore. The only major thing was teachers had to have pants not shorts. The rest was basic. It was set this way in order to make the teachers and students more comfortable and trusting of each other. It was enforced in the normal way through school policy and kids were sent to the office if they were dressed bad and were given a different outfit to wear.
In my opinion, all teachers in the elementary and middle school level should be dressed similar to students and early childhood should be the same due to the fact it is like what they see at home with their parents. They are used to that and are more comfortable that way.
