Unmanned Combat Air Vehicles (UAVs), most commonly referred to as drones, are becoming a helpful asset to the military. Drones will most likely be relied upon more in the battlefield and save many military personnel lives because they can be controlled from states away, are becoming more persistent and technologically advanced, and are being equipped with highly accurate yet extremely dangerous weapons.

The simple fact that these drones can successfully complete more missions than manned airplanes, be in the air longer than manned airplanes, and also save the lives of pilots are all great reasons behind drones being more reliable and possibly replacing manned airplanes.
