This quarter helped me a lot in my writing skills. I am glad and feel right when I decided to choose this class to learn. I have learned a lot about the four types of essay: descriptive, narrative, expository, and argumentative. In each type, I think that I learn more it.
First, in descriptive and narrative essay, I learned about them when I was 7 years old. However, the thing is I never knew about the five senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. After learning about them, I think that they made my writing skills better, because they bring a lot more feelings to these essays than my older essays before. When I was a kid, I did not bring any touch, hearing, smell into my essay, that was why my older essays did not get high scores. I am glad that I learned about this. I hope that I can use this knowledge to apply to my research papers later. What I mean is I think I can bring more feelings that are excited to my research paper, so that my professor can give me more points. In addition, my strength as a writer in these types of essays is I have a clear memory about things that I want to describe or telling about, and know how to use the five senses to develop my essays. However, after finish the deceptive and narrative essay, I need to distinguish narrative and descriptive essay, because I made mistake in the descriptive essay. Therefore, I need to know more information about these two types of essay.
The expository essay is new to me, because I never learn about that type of essay. By learning about the types of development, I improve my writing skills because I have a way to develop my paragraph. I found that the example method is the best way, and the most common way for me to do my expository essays and research papers. Because it is easy to use, and it is easy to find examples to support my ideas. Therefore, I guess my strength as a writer in expository essay I knowing how to use example development method. In addition, I

Who is Abigail Williams? is she a liar, a witch or is she really just an honest soul trying to prove her innocence? Some people could relate to Abigail, but those people are probably the liars and cheats of this world. Abigail Williams is one of the characters that made the least number of changes in The Crucible. Abigail's lies never changed throughout The Crucible and she continued to be deceptive. She refused to tell what happened in the woods and she lied about seeing people with the devil. In the beginning Abigail is denying all the things Paris saw when he ventured into the woods and discovered the girls dancing in a circle naked around Tituba. Near the middle of The Crucible Abigail continues to lie about the situation and the people she blamed. Then in the end Abigail remained the same and vanished without a trace.…

Essay writing was a major part of the class. We wrote essay on race and ethnicity, gay matters, language technique essays. Each essay taught us about a different style or form of writing. Comparison and contrast essays taught us how to write an essay comparing two similar things. This type of essay was my favorite to write. In my essay I compared the careers of Lebron James and Kobe Bryant. The most difficult essay for me to write was the argument essay in which we were to defend a point using strong argument skills. For my argument essay I supported the argument that rap music is music of resistance. I can honestly say my essay skills have improved tremendously over the course of this year thanks to the many skills learned in this class.…
