In 2009 Dwyane was the leagues’ scoring champion. After the 2010 season, Wade was a crucial part to bringing superstars LeBron James and Chris Bosh to sign with the Miami Heat. The three of them took the Heat to four straight final appearances winning twice. Dwyane has spent all 13 years as a member of the Miami Heat. His charity, Wade’s World Foundation, helps give children in the Chicago, Milwaukee, and South Florida areas a better opportunity to prevail over any challenges they may face on daily basis. The WWF supports and strengthens the underprivileged communities in those areas. Growing up he overcame a lot of adversity growing up on the south side of Chicago. His rough childhood is one of the many reasons he enjoys giving back. Now that he is able to give back to the communities that he is connected with exemplifies his fatherly ways. He is a role model to many of the young kids in the communities his charity is involved in. His work with these communities earned him the 2012-13 season-long NBA Community Assist
