EYLF Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity.
Children can only feel Safe secure and supported if they are understood and respected. By feeling part and involved in their environment they will gain confidence and feel a strong sense of self and identity. It is important for other children to also learn this respect and have understanding. This can be obtained through exposure to other children’s culture
by having it included in the childcare setting. And having it presented in a positive manner. It is also for other children to observe this respect and understanding through exposure to be able to interact with others with care, empathy and of course respect and understanding.
EYLF Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world.
