DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS

The type of business my relative and I will be involved in is a Partnership business, Kush Kash Candy. The business will be operated by myself and two other relatives. Each of whom will be contributing capital for the establishment of the business.
Kush Kash Candy will be targeting the regional market and its focus will be on both adults and kids of all ages.
Our objectives will be to provide a low calorie but sweetened candy to satisfy the taste buds of our valued customers.
Our opening hours will be as followed: Mondays – Thursday 8:30 am - 4:30pm, Fridays 8:30am -5:30pm and Saturdays 9:30am – 3:30pm.

Justification of location

Kush Kash Candy will be located at 64 Barnett Street Montego Bay. We will be located in this vicinity for three reasons:
The locations of the business ideal because Barnett Street is very busy on a daily basis with pedestrians and vehicular traffic so the potential of attracting customers; both adult and children will be very high.
This location will be ideal because of the available amenities, such as electricity, water, internet access and banking facilities are accessible.
Barnett Street will be ideal because the business will be closer to raw materials. We will be able to acquire sugar from a nearby factory on the same Street that we will be located. We will also be easily accessible to chocolate because of the high quantity that is being offered by the Freeport pier twice per month at an affordable price. The coloring will be available to us by a nearby wholesale that is across the road from Kush Kash Candy.

SELECTION OF APPROPRIATE LABOUR

There are about 10 persons to be employed. We will need about 3 skilled workers, 5 semi-skilled and 2 unskilled.
The business will need two accountants to keep track of the daily transactions of money, one executive to handles the internal affairs of the employees and two
