Eassy On My Cultural Identity

My cultural identity is important to me because it represents who I am as a whole. The things that I enjoy are a part of my cultural identity. My culture helps me know where I belong. My cultural identity is American because my family and I have lived here for generations which is illustrated by the movies, sports, and foods we are interested in. Basketball represents my culture and me. My basketball is blue and white, a size 28.5, and is the Wilson Brand. The ball isn’t brand new and has been used enough to be worn out a bit. Since the ball is mine, it has my name written on it. Basketball is connected to my culture because my family and friends support me. I’ve been playing basketball for at least five years. I’ve played for the high school and was positioned as they point guard for JV, during my freshman year. When playing basketball, all my worried disappear. Also, my team will always have my back. When I wear my uniform i get motivated to play. The importance of my basketball and the sport is that it makes me happy. Two slices of whole wheat bread, peanut-butter, grape jelly, and butter spread on the outside of the sandwich, cooked on the stove. It is like cooking grilled cheese, minus the cheese and add peanut-butter and jelly. It is fast and easy to cook. Not only is it my favorite food, but it is also one of my specials to cook. My mom made me once everyday after school when i was young. The jelly and peanut-butter melted together is delicious.
