1. Godavari is the biggest river in the peninsular India which is originated in trimbakeshwar of Maharashtra. The Jayakwadi project is one of the largest irrigation project. It is located on Godavari river at the site of Jayakwadi village in Paithan taluka of Aurangabad district in Maharashtra. Godavari is one of the East flowing river in India.
2. India have enough amount of rainfall in most of states.So,the need of Irrigation is less. If most of land must be irrigated India's production of corps will be quite high. So I think it's 35%.
3. Since The Tropic of cancer passes almost in the middle of India, so definitely KanyaKumari is to the south of Tropic of cancer. But as we know the Equator does pass through India. So these two statements prove that KanyaKumari is North to the equator and South to the Tropic of Cancer. The location of kanyakumari is as follows:
South of tropic of cancer.
North of tropic of capricorn as well as of equator.
4. Palghat gap is used for the internal communication between Madurai to Trivanantapuram. The palghat gap separates the nilgiri hills from anaimalai and cardamom hills inKerala.
5. Sugarcane is mostly irrigated cash crop. Crushing period is high because of sugar cane is cultivated by higher persentage ofland in south india compared with north india.India is one of theleading producers of sugar cane in world.
6. India's copper ore reserves have been estimated at 400 million tonnes, with a metal content of 5 million tones. The principal copper belt of India lies in Singhbhum and Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. The mining centres are located at Mosabani, Ghatsila, Thobani and Badia of Singbhbum, Hazaribagh of Bihar, the Khetri and Dariba areas of Rajasthan, and Agnigundala of Andhra Pradesh. Total production is 2.6 million tones.
