Effect of Abandonment Babies

* 3.3 EFFECT ABANDONED BABIES Abandoned babies are the serious major problem among teenagers in the new millennium at this now. One of the major issues that have occurred in most of the country in the world is abandonment babies. Recently we always see that abandoned babies cases come out on the front page of the newspaper. Everyday there are several numbers of infants being found in rivers, dustbins, and even sometimes somewhere that we cannot imagine such as travelling bags. These babies are died in the situation that cannot be accepted by most of the people as the ways of killing these babies are too cruel and cold-blooded. As the number of abandoned babies cases has been increasing days by days and it has reached an alarming state, researches are carried out to determine which group of people is the biggest contributor to these serious cases. The teenagers at this time should give more support and attention to prevent or reduce from occurrence abandoned babies. These here have a several effects of abandoned babies that happened in individual, babies, society and country.

1. 2. 3.1. 3.3.1 Effect to individual (mothers) 3.3.2.1 Risk of death

This situation will give the individual high risk of death caused by bleeding and infection on mothers during the child’s birth. (Siraj Prof. Dr Harlina Halizah, 2010). This is because, when they give birth, they are not in a comfortable condition. Without careful preparation, they would have a serious infection, injury during childbirth and loss a lot of blood. They usually give birth by their own without the help from the hospital or others. (Haji Bedu at el.2008)

3.3.1.2 Juvenile murder
Before for the another effects to individual, in KUALA LUMPUR: the cabinet has asked the police to probe into abandoned babies as attempted murder or murder cases ( Datuk Seri Shahrizat Jalil, 2011). It will be charged for attempting murder if the baby were still alive and charge for murder penalty if the baby is dead. If the juvenile offenders who are still learning, they will be expelled from schools or educational institutions. It is also feeling pressure from family, friends and the surrounding and most importantly is the feeling of guilty. ( Bukit Aman Police Headquarters,2010).

3.3.2 Effect to the baby

3.3.3.2.1 Unable to grow in proper way
The baby also gets the effect unable to grow up in a proper way. They will feel unloved and alone because of they don’t have family, which is the nearest person that can they refer if have any problem and also the place to get loved. They also lack of education because of nobody to give and support cost for them. That why most of abandoned babies is not growing well. For some of the abandoned babies are lucky or sympathetic got the adoptive family that can give love and good education for them. (Hospital Kuala Lumpur, 2011)

They also may have the possibilities of having birth defect and low body immunity. This effect shows the abandoned babies no having care from their child. They do not expose in family situational for growing up, when born, they are be ignored, abandoned. For normal babies, when born, the babies should having care, love and give nutritious food for their health, growth for example breast milk, vitamin, and treatment to make their child in good health. (Hospital Kuala Lumpur, 2011)

3.3.3.3 No birth registration
The increase of the abandoned babies also can cause difficulty for schools because there is no birth registration. This problem is occur because need parents to make the registration birth, if the parents not know, how to recognize who child it is, who the name of the babies, who is their parents, only the parents can answer all the question mark, because of the babies is their child. The child is more difficult to register for school, if are no birth registration, it is can make the child is lack of education and also make more suffer in the future soon. ( Bukit Aman Police Headquarters,2010).

3.3.3 Effect of society

3.3.4.4 On women
Women will feel more vulnerable with abortion. It means playing into the hands of men who seek sex without married. Advocate argues that abortion would bring women into being exemption, however the opposite phenomenon occur. The unwanted pregnancy is increasing. It mentioned that unmarried women be more careful to protect them from victims of men. (Star, 2011)

3.3.4.5 On men
Abortion also negatively determines men, while abortion has devalued women. Some laugh at the idea of men being victim of abortion. Counselors understand this psychological conflict and complicated. (Star, 2011)

3.3.4.6 On individual (Mother) Have a high risk of get die because of blood loss and transmission of infection on mother wombs. Women who are involved in abortion without proper medical procedures take high risks of death. It is because the infection and bleeding in the uterus can cause the woman to be unconscious or worse, death. (Star, 2011)

3.3.4.7 On children
The children who have been deserted may refuse everything about absent parent. Sometimes there cases where children who have been desolated by one parent will make an attempt to completely refuse him or her. We can see this when a child explicit the desire to be the accurate opposite of the absent parent. (Star, 2011)

3.3.4 Effect of country

In the future, nation and country will lose the next generation of leadership. Moreover, national development and economy is difficult to grow because of the high rate of the social problems and moral decadence among the teenagers. Government spending will also increase due to the occurrence of an increase in crime rate (Haji Bedu et al., 2008).
