The Importance Of Abortion
Let’s talk about one of the most controversial and subjective topic there is yet.
People who consider themselves "pro-life" are actually just pro-birth. In the U.S alone 397,122 children are living without permanent families in the foster care system. 101,666 of these children are eligible for adoption, but nearly 32% of these children will wait over three years in foster care before being adopted. 48.1 million Americans lived in food insecure households, including 32.8 million adults and 15.3 million children. 38 percent of all children 5 and under in the United States were welfare recipients.
Now if asked would you increase tax on welfare to care for all of these lives that you hope to save from abortion, would you? If conservatives cared

A person has a right to their own body, and the government is not allowed to take that right away from a woman, even if it will result in the death of another. A fetus does not have the right to sustain itself off the mother without her permission.
Unwanted pregnancies can be very stressful for women, especially often when women are being raped and being forced to have that child. Women suffer even more by poverty and emotional stress because of raising that child since they’re not ready to have one. Think about the thought of looking at that child and seeing pain and horror of the rape itself. Woman should have a right to have an abortion. Think if you were raped and got pregnant, wouldn't you feel like you had a monster growing in you and would want it removed immediately?
How could you love that baby? It would revolt you. All woman should have the right to abort, especially for rape!
Having an abortion isn’t inhumane. The only thing that is inhumane is that women in some countries such as Chile are still going behind bars for having illegal abortions no matter what the circumstances

If the pregnancy is a dangerous one it puts the mother at risk but also it will bring the baby into a life full of illness.
Studies show that women that have been diagnosed with diabetes before birth are 3 to 4 times more likely to give birth to a child with one or more defects than to a non-diabetic mother. Studies also show us that heart disease can also cause multiple defects to a baby but also puts the mother at risk of death. Therefore this is a human right for a woman to choose whether to have an abortion or not.
In an almost ironic way I think abortion needs to exist in order to save lives.
In order to save woman who live with a traumatic experience.
In order to save a woman who will use illegal ways in order to abort the baby, a woman who is risking her life.
In order to save a woman who wants to save herself, a woman who puts herself before her unborn child.
In order to save young girls lives who are simply not

In some ethical and legal respects a pregnant woman and her fetus can be considered separate. Both the woman and the fetus are ordinarily affected by the well-being of one another for as long as each of them live. The ethical and legal issues are challenged deeply in cases where the well-being of the fetus and the mother appear to be in conflict. Our society struggles with identifying cases where the pregnant woman’s interests and/or behaviors might put her fetus at risk. Criminal and/or civil commitments should be used to bar pregnant women from exposing their fetuses to risk.…

The Women's Rights Movement, which began in 1848 and ended only in 1998, has entitled the women of our society to various rights. Among these, was the right to have control over their body. Considering this, many would point out that terminating a pregnancy is done so within the rights of the woman, and is therefore completely acceptable. If a baby is not a 'baby' at all, but merely a part of its mother's body, surely it is her choice whether it should live or die!…

Personally, I think that any form of abortion is tantamount to murder, and should never be permitted. This article only brings to my attention that women who wish to have abortions are only concerned for themselves, as the argument is based upon the health of the woman. Although the author’s argument may be valid concerning some facets of the issue, I believe the focus of the subject should shift from the mother to the living creature inside and its right to…

Imagine a young child at the playground, slipping down a slide, swinging on the monkey bars, and laughing with glee. When a mother decides to get an abortion, that entire image goes away with a blink of an eye. What that mother might not know is her child might be the next person to cure cancer or be the greatest movie star of all time. The public is divided on this issue and they do not know if one should be pro-life or pro-choice. People that believe in pro-choice think the decision should be up to the mother. It is the mother’s body and she should have the right to decide what happens to it. However, every life matters and the child should not be in the cross fire of the mother’s decision. Abortion violates the child’s right to live and…

Abortion, the termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first twenty-eight weeks of pregnancy. When the topic abortion is brought up there are usually two sides of the arguments. No matter which side you have personally taken it is important to understand what the opposing position believes. There is the pro-choice point of view and there is the pro-life point of view. An antiabortionist believes that the fetus is a human being from the moment of conception; this means abortion is murder, which is immoral and should be illegal. They also believe that If the pregnancy is the result of carelessness on the mother’s part she should have to deal with the consequences. It is ultimately her responsibility to prevent pregnancy…

According to statistics provided by Guttmacher institute, “there were approximately 1.05 million abortions in the United States in 2012 alone” (Abortion Counters 4). To many, that might be just a number and it does not necessarily mean anything, but lets just take some time to think about how tremendously that number actually is. The image of 1.05 million lifeless, innocent premature babies is horrific, and many do not realize how sick and wrong it is. That number is more than just a statistic but it is the amount of lives that were ended way to early. As someone who stands for pro-life, aborting a baby is not something that should be an option so easily for women. Women nor anybody else should have the authority to end a child’s life prematurely.…
