Effective writing is crucial when it comes to designing safety procedures manuals, due to the high risks associated with employees getting hurt or losing their lives if proper safety measures aren't taken. Therefore, all employees must be able to follow and understand every step of these manuals. In a shipyard, where heavy materials are frequently moved, even a minor oversight could result in catastrophic accidents. Furthermore, as shipyards usually have many employees, it is not easy for management to watch over every single worker. Therefore, the use of effective writing principles in standardized work instructions for routine maintenance tasks is critical for the company to keep track of every maintenance check and identify the responsible person for maintenance swiftly in case of any issues with a machine. Additionally, clearer and more easily understandable manuals enable employees to work more effectively, saving time and enhancing overall productivity. 3. One challenge I encounter when providing feedback to peers is assessing submissions that don't align with the assignment's requirements. This situation arises frequently in general education courses, where peers may submit incorrect assignments. It can be challenging to accurately evaluate their work, especially since many are freshmen. I often struggle to determine a fair grade, as giving a zero for what could be an accidental submission doesn't feel
