Electric cars don't always run on gas which makes them safer to drive. During a wreck there is a less chance of them exploding or starting to get on fire. On the other hand vehicles with combustions engines have a high exploding rate. They carry fuel which makes them very explosive. If the fuel tank busts open and theres a spark, then most likely the car is going to get caught on fire. The older versions of Electric cars take a while to charge but the newer ones charge a lot faster. They also tend to cost more.
