Ellen Degeneres: A Positive Role Model
Ellen DeGeneres is a big part in today's society, but there is a lot more that you don't know about the gay talk show host and comedian, you probably didn't know that Madonna is her 11th cousin and she has a ride at Disney named after her. The ride takes you through Ellen's head as she falls asleep while watching Jeopardy, has a crazy dream that takes you to time traveling and meeting dinosaurs, and finally brings you back to Epcot. Besides from having a ride named after her and a famous talk show, she has influenced gay rights and equality for all. Ellen DeGeneres has been a positive role model in today's society because she has influenced equality for all, won many awards, and has thought kids to follow their dreams.

    Graduation caps fly into the air, cheers erupt, and diplomas are received. This is a typical graduation day. Not only did these ceremonial events take place for Tulane University's class of 2009, but Ellen DeGeneres was there to congratulate them as well!
