Emma Rem Research Paper
Life is a long and difficult journey. There’s times when you feel like you’re on top of the world, and then there’s times when you don't have the strength to get out of bed in the morning. A best friend is someone who's supposed to be with you through both of these times and then every time in between. Emma Rehm is my best friend. I met Emma in fourth grade when I joined a basketball team that she was on. At first we weren’t great friends, but the we quickly grew close and we have been inseparable since then. She has been with me through literally everything. When I ran away from home, she was the person I called. When my dog died, she was the person I called. When mom bought us a new puppy, she was the first person I called. She stuck by my side through every good and bad thing that happened. I know that Emma is my true best friend because she knows everything about me. She can tell how I’m feeling by my body language and she always knows what to say when I’m upset. For example, when I get upset I put my right index finger on my eyebrow and I lift my eyebrow up, and everytime I conduct this action, Emma knows that I’m upset and she’ll ask me, “What’s wrong?” Most of …show more content…
My parents were fighting and my mother yelled at me to grab my sister and run, so that’s what I did. With tears streaming down my face, me and my precious six year old sister ran down the street till we were far enough away to not be caught by mom and dad. I was in shock and I didn’t know what to do, so I called Emma and told her to come pick me and Jaycee up. Emma immediately agreed to do so and woke her parents up so she could come get me, despite the fact that it was around midnight. Then they came and picked me and my sister up and we went to her house. Emma being there for me during this time of crisis showed me that she’s my true best friend and that she can’t be replaced by anyone

Samantha was my savior and protector till the struggle of social life took over our compact minds. I remember when Samantha and I first met in Kindergarten; I had just back to Fort Hood from Germany and hardly spoke English. I was the middle of the school year, kids had just come back from winter break and everybody knew each other by then but me. My new teacher had seated me next to Samantha and Sam welcomed me warmly. Sam would help me with assignments and talking to other kids and stood up for me against cruel kids when no one else would from kindergarten to third grade. I saw her as not only my best friend, but also my hero. However, Sam became more distant throughout the years and started talking to me less, but I didn't think anything…

Who is your best friend? My opinion, the answer is: a person that reflects yourself while looking in the mirror. Having a best friend is the best feeling in the world, it's like they are a part of you in a way that's truly hard to explain until you find it. A best friend is someone you spend the majority of your time with because they have the most common with you. They will attend all the activities you both share the love for. Your dog won't be able to compete with that the majority of the time, but when you get home they will be waiting for you with the tail wagging acting like he or she hasn't seen you in years.…

A best friend is the first person who comes in when, out of the door, the whole world has gone. A best friend is one who loves the truth and you, and will tell the truth in spite of you. There are lots of people who you make friendship with, but it is very hard to find a true and honest friend. But I am very lucky that I have a best friend with whom I can share my feelings and divide grief with. His name is Chandler. Chandler is very friendly, and I am very happy to have him as my best friend. He is very well respectful, hardworking, and an honest person. Although sometimes he can get annoying he has the “best friend qualities.”…

Sometimes I wonder how my life would be without my best friend Tonya, after thirteen years of putting up with each other we are still as inseparable as ever. We know everything about one another, share everything, and spend hours talking to each other developing a relationship that cannot compare any other friendship. Many times when we are together we are mistaken for sisters and it's easy to understand why; we both stand little over five foot tall, have blonde hair, blue eyes, and wear the same size clothing. It always seems that my closet has more of her clothes in it than mine and vice-versa. Our mothers can never stop comparing notes as to how many clothes they have bought us that they've never seen on their actual child wear. When we are together people swears that we speak a different language and between finishing each others sentences, the jumps in topics, and the giggles it's amazing that we even understand each other. After spending all day together we always end up talking on the phone for hours and many times repeating the same conversations without ever realizing it. For some people it's hard to imagine being friends with someone for so long, but if I were to choose one person outside of my family that I could not do without. I would pick my best friend Tonya. We've helped each other through the good times and bad and held each other when some guy has broken our hearts and even yelled at each others parents. She is as much a part of my family as anyone else, no matter what anyone says. We are best friends and so much more, everyday I am thankful that we found each other so many years ago because neither of our lives have ever been the…

My best friend is Jo. We met when we were in high school, we have been friends for 5 years. We were called “conjoined twins”, back in high school, because whenever you see me, you could see Jo as well or vise versa. I discuss everything with Jo, I ask her for advice. Like one time, the was a English competition about giving a speech to a live audience in font of the whole school. Our English teacher nominated me for the contest, than I turn to Jo for advice. She told me what to do, in order not to feel nervous while getting on stage to deliver a speech. The comfort and support that she gave me was very useful, although I did not make it to the finals. Jo is a calm, diligent girl. She manages to deal with difficulties calmly and never panics, Jo can always find the right way to solve things. The reason we became best friends is because that I think we can give each other the support whenever and wherever the time we needed it. Even we graduated from high school, we still ask each other for advice and chat every night. Sharing funny things and sad thing that happened in college or in our daily life. I think we will still be best friends in the future, it just does not seem right without a friend like her.…
