Let me state that I have never liked Lil Wayne or the tripe he puts out. Call me a hater (which is hardly the case), but I find him to be everything that is wrong with current rap today: no positivity, no respect, and no skill.
In one of the lyrics to his song Karate Chop, Lil Wayne described the “beating of a woman’s pussy” to that of Emmett Till.

Not only that, but am I the only one who finds the term “beat the pussy up” to be abusive? Of course, Lil Wayne isn’t the only one guilty of it. Plenty of rappers have used this terminology in their songs and it seems to be becoming a disturbing trend. Also, am I the only one who needs to state that a woman’s sexual organs should never be either “beaten up” or brutalized? Because if so, than that’s something that should be said a lot more. It just sounds so savage.
Yet besides the lyrics, there is something else that needs to be spoken about. If it’s not Lil Wayne acting like an ass, than it’s his fans. The fact that there are people actually defending him is saddening and what makes it even worst is that these are teenagers, which is why I stated earlier on why I’m concerned about this current generation.
