Empath Or Claircognizant
Chapter 7: Intuitive Empath or Claircognizant

What is an Intuitive Empath or Clarcognizant?

A claircognizant or intuitive empath is a person who has a higher spirit or self who puts information into his mind. This information can be insights about situations and individuals. It can even be an idea. A claircognizant is an individual known for his keen sense of knowing that goes far beyond logic.

An intuitive empath is someone who solves problems and understands abstract concepts. He is extremely analytical. As a child, he is a know-it-all. Adults are in awe because he knows everything. The gift of claircognizance is common, yet it is not as popular as clairaudience or clairvoyance.

Many people know psychics as individuals who have clairvoyance and visions as gifts. They anticipate that these psychics have intuitions that come from an amazing

Sensory overload can be a form of torture because the intuitive empath has an influx of information that his mind cannot wholly process at once.
Developing Claircognizance

A person can use automatic writing as a way to obtain claircognizant information. He gets a piece of paper and pen or opens a word document. Then, he asks a question to his higher self. He writes down anything that comes to mind. He has to ensure that his conscious mind does not meddle in the activity. His conscious mind cannot think about the information he is receiving.

Persistence is important in automatic writing. At first try, a person may get many pages of nonsense. Yet, if he persists, he can channel some clear insights that are full of wisdom. Empathy is the way you feel or understand another person; it is a deep emotional understanding of a person’s feelings or problems. It is as we often hear people say put yourself in someone else’s shoes. An empathic listener gives the other person his or her undivided attention. When being an empathic listener you have to focus on the words the speaker is saying and not let yourself be distracted. As you focus on what the person is saying, you can respond when needed. If you don’t understand what the person is saying, it is okay to ask question to get a better perceptive. One way of being a good listener is asking a question that summarizes what the person said to you. For an Example: A friend of mine, who’s Grandmother just passed away, as she was telling me why she was crying and upset, I made sure to repeat “You are upset because your Grandmother past away”. I followed that up with I am so sorry to hear that, I wanted to be a comfort to her. It is oaky to wait before you speak to give yourself time to make sure you have a clear understanding what the person said. Empathy is sometimes confused with sympathy which is feeling for someone, Empathy is feeling as someone. There are two concepts in empathy, the heart part and the head part. The feeling is the heart part and the head part consists of beliefs, values, opinions, attitudes and thoughts. When you have empathy for someone you enter into a person inner world. Empathy is a way of identifying with them. When you can identify with someone you will build a better relationship with the person, it will also help with others in different situations. When you empathize with someone it can help the communication and allow a more positive reaction.…

The act of writing helps the writer better understand complex subjects. In the case of Malcolm X the copying of the dictionary helped him broaden his vocabulary and gave him a better understanding of written works. [During his prison studies Malcolm X realizes a connection between writing and cognitive learning. “ I woke the next morning, thinking about those words immensely proud to realize that not only had I written so much at one, time but id written words that I never knew were in the world. Moreover, with little effort, I also could remember what many of these words meant.”] As Malcolm continued to learn new words, he was able to pick up a book for the first time, read it and understand what the book was saying. There is good evidence that writing things down might in fact help the writer remember things better. While Malcolm X was re writing the dictionary he was absorbing more than if he was to watch a video or television.…

Assuming that the client is willing to allow the counselor to enter his or her private world and attempts to communicate perceptions and feelings to the counselor, the counselor must be receptive to the communication. Third, the counselor must be able to communicate his or her understanding to the client.” (Patterson 1985 pg. 53)…
