Erica Rizzo Informative Speech

There is something pretty ironic, that for a girl who likes to speak as much as she does, Erica has been getting a bad case of laryngitis since last spring break. Too much partying and screaming? When I first sat down with her, the cliché was making its way into my mind, as the young 19 years old girl is barely out of high school. However, while this mean MDMA and freedom for some, Erica Rizzo is a completely opposite number. She actually gets her kick through communication.

Part of the difference with girls her age actually lies in her last name. Rizzo. Erica Rose Rizzo. Her blood is Italian.
When she mentioned her lack of patience for rebellious kids, which kept her from wanting a full career in that field, I couldn't help myself but wonder about her own rebellion. What is her vice?

“I am a 40 years old stuck in a 19 years old body! I am a home person” she joked, laughing at her own self, realizing this isn't usual for someone her age.

So no crazy partying phase? No hitchhiking in BC to go pick up cherries? Oh no. But she laughed again and went on telling me about when she was 14 years old and her really strict parents didn't allow her to date. Of course, she wanted a boyfriend, went behind their back and got one. The “We hold hands. You are my boyfriend” high school type of love. Eventually, her parents found out through a friend, and completely lost trust in her. Her punishment?

“They basically said: Choose between him or your phone!”
