-Greg is experiencing the cycle of failure because tries to make himself into someone he is not. This would affect his self-esteem every time he believes he failed. With Rowley, he is experiencing the success cycle
because he is just being himself regardless of what other people say or do. This is boosting of his self- confidence.

-Greg’s relationship with his brother Roderick is very sibling like. To Roderick, Greg is the little brother which he doesn’t value him as anything more. Sometimes Roderick mistreats Greg.
