In this job interview, I have chosen my amazing husband, Mr. Randy L Green, for this evaluation, who is an independent religious Christian counselor-mentor, for the past fifteen years. Throughout this correspondence, I will attempt to discuss his specialized profession and how it will relate to my chosen occupation, as a Christian counselor.
Professional Background
To start with, I asked what educational requirements are required for this profession? Randy said he graduated from Upsala College and obtained an undergraduate degree in religious studies and minor in counseling. Once he completed his bachelor degree, he transferred to Oval Bible College, in which he completed obtained an Associate degree in Christian counseling. Also, he also received a diploma in mentoring.
Preparation
After completing college, he moved to Virginia, to work in his grandparent’s church, called First Corinth. During his five-year stay in Robbinsville Virginia, he taught Sunday school. As he continued to flourish in his Sunday school ministry, his grandfather, the late Pastor Houston, trained him in leadership. Major Duties
As I progressed through the interview, I requested a primary duty of this career and Randy responded by saying, "living Godly is one of the most important responsibilities for the Christian counselor." Also, he expressed, how Christian counselors are not exempt from counseling because every man is in need of counseling, as mentioned in the Bible. Also, he said, Christion counseling help their clients solve worldview issues by guiding them to God and his word. Furthermore, Randy pointed out, as a Christian Counselor, it is vital to promote the real life of God.
Advantages and Disadvantages
In this section, my husband eloquently articulated the benefits of Christian counseling is shepherding, as mentioned in the Bible.
For instance, the shepherded are responsible for feeding and mending the wounds of a sheep in distress. I asked what suggestions he could give? Randy replied by saying, “As a Christian counselor, you will encounter unclean spirits that will try your faith.” “However, rely on God and keep all focus on his word.” The career interview has allowed me to explore the paths of professional Christian counseling. Lastly, after interrogating my spouse, I have come to the conclusion that this is a professional career that needs to be taken seriously because souls emotions are at
