It is predicted that in 2100, there would be 1 billion people in America (North and South), 1 billion in Europe, 4 billion in Africa, and 5 billion in Asia. That means that less than 10% of the world population would be living in America, 10 % in Europe, and 80% would be living in Asia and Africa. There is great poverty in Africa, because of this Africa used to lack resources in hospitals, but now in Africa the hospitals have advanced. What saddens me is that we still have 1 billion people are below the extreme poverty line. However, back in 1800 everyone was sick and poor, now countries are moving in the right direction. European countries aren’t moving fast, but the fast movers are China, Mozambique, and Bangladesh. In 1963 the richest hump was the Europe, and in extreme poverty was Asia. More than 1 billion people are currently in extreme poverty, and over the years no countries will be in extreme poverty. The rich end and the middle moves, but the poorest end doesn’t. I believe that the poor will manage on their own hard work, even though the poorest families have the most mouths to feed. For most people a good life means more machines and energy, but this contributes to climate change.
