We act as an academic resource for students that are scholastically challenged and benefit from that little extra push outside the classroom. Over the past few years, my classmates and I have changed the culture of our renowned fan section, known as the “Red Sea.” The “Red Sea,” ignites energy into the basketball games with our school spirit. Every home game has a theme and we coordinate our efforts to bring forth a unified front. There is never an empty seat in the stands! A recent game featured a fundraiser for the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation. In addition to the funds collected, each student brought a stuffed teddy bear that would be donated to a child. It was heartwarming to see the number of bears. It is in moments like this that I am truly proud of my school
