Essay On Immigrant Parents

Being a natural born citizen to immigrant parents, It has been instilled in me at a young age that good education and determination is the key to success, and that failure is never an option. Both of my parents have urged me to always strive for greatness and success by placing high expectations of myself.
Accountability: After coming home from a long day at school, I complete my chores and homework before sneaking into bed, with no excuses. Following this routine, my parents have taught me how to prioritize my time under any circumstance. My family environment has produced such great influence on me that I am now confident presenting myself to others as a leader and a role model. They both have guided my siblings and I to become the best versions
My mother motivates me to push through any crimp or hardship to accomplish all of my goals. Seeing her come home after a long shift, her body full of pain, hearing the exhaustion in her voice, then watching her return, the following day, to the same place, drives me to want to perform as a hard worker. Grateful and Blessed: With the love and support she supplies for me on the daily basis, I cannot thank her enough for filling the role as my personal counselor and above all my role model. Everyday I thank God for providing my siblings and I such hard-working and dedicated parents that live their days shedding sweat to provide us all of our needs and wants.
It is because of my parent's intense upbringings, that I have been molded into a confident individual that the younger me could only dream to become.
