Late Term Abortions The term late-term abortions has been used so much without the people knowing the real meaning of the word. The fact that people use this term so much makes them ignorant. The term has come up recently because of the presidential candidates. Donald Trump implies late-term abortions trying to use pathos to scare the society. The fact that he never explained what the term actually means makes the situation idiotic. Late term abortions occur at a late stage of a pregnancy when the life of the mother is threatened. The government is thinking about outlawing late term abortions. Outlawing late term abortions is redundant. The burdensome decision should be left to the mother bearing the fetus. Up to this day women have the choice to choose between the baby or them. Some mothers will choose them and other mothers will choose the baby. It depends on the situation, and the government should not choose for the mother. There are always a million reasons that change the situation such as who the mother is, the fetus health, and if the mother is a single parent. If that were the case and the mother was a single parent and she did not have the choice to save her life she will die leaving the baby all alone in this cruel world. The baby would then have to be put in the foster care where it would have to compete for parents. Being put in foster care would be so horrible because as is there are so many kids in the system that no one wants, and to think all this could have been avoided just by allowing the mother one simple choice. The government wouldn’t consider the different situations. They will immediately save the baby and let the mother die, because of the fact that the late term abortions were outlawed not allowing the mother to save her own life if there were complications late in the

    The debate over the choice to have an abortion and the timeline used to say when an abortion should be allowed is one that has caused much divide in society and in the courtroom. There are varying views and opinions from the moment of conception being a soul and when a fetus is considered human. There are also those who suggest that babies are not actually human until they are completely formed. A third group and the one that I choose to side with is that a woman has the right to their body and that they should have the ability to have an abortion in cases where they see fit or when it is deemed medically necessary.
