Being able to legally drink in restaurants and bars will in fact increase revenue for private and small business owners. Which would help private and small business owners stop having to police their own business. Also the government would collect a good amount on taxes which could be used in many ways. For example, helping teenagers understand more about the use of alcohol. Also using the extra tax dollar to give classes that will help our teenager understand alcohol abuse.
Final reason for lowering the drinking age to eighteen is giving our teenager a safer environment. Lowering the drinking age will help teenagers learn safe ways on how to handle themselves in different environments. In fact, it will reduce binge drinking, and fatalities that comes with drinking and driving. Exposing teenagers to alcohol at eighteen will develop and learn good drinking habits. In addition, Safe drinking means fewer citations also happy parents. Furthermore, it is proven to work in different countries.
