Essay On Monotheistic Worldview

Having a monotheistic worldview is important to how we view our life. It is important to have a worldview, so we can manage through different views and interpretations and know how to handle each situation we come across. When we understand the worldviews, we know how to defend the Christian faith. Throughout the world there are three religions that are close to the monotheistic worldview and has been the leader of all faiths. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are the three religions. All of these religions have some biblical reference pointing towards Gods chosen to whom God reveled himself, that one is Abraham. The Jews viewed Abraham as being the foundation of Israel’s monotheistic view and called him Father Abraham. As for Islam it is the second largest in world religions they worship the God they call (Allah). Islam came from the linage of Abraham through Ishmael that Abraham sent away and He told him that God would multiply his descendants. They viewed Jesus as not the son of God but as a prophet. Christianity or Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God they call the Messiah or the anointed one. The four worldview questions listed here will explain why only the monotheistic worldview adequately answers all four of them.
The Greek term for Monotheist is monos, which mean one, and theos, which means god. The Christian worldview also lives currently in New Testament. The New Testament is a reliable internal and external evidence of biblical truths. Through eyewitness and testimonies in the Old Testament we can confirm that Jesus is the son of God and that he was sent to live an earthly life to perform miracles and die for our sins, so that we can be free and have a way to salvation through Him.
