Essay On Outstanding Students
The keyword that sticks out to me in the prompt is “Outstanding”, because anybody can go to work and do a job to earn a paycheck and a lot of people do just that. However, there is also people who go to work every day and go beyond what is required of them, doing whatever is necessary to do their best. These gems want to make a difference in the world, to have a positive footprint and leave things better than they found them. In order to be in this classification, as an outstanding educator, I believe you need ambition, commitment, determination, and compassion. Every child is different; so therefore you will need all of these qualities in order to have a lasting impact.

It’s the protein bar needed to complete the race or a hard workout. When a person is determined they have a purpose that will not be moved, they are firm in their quest to complete their goal. There will be many obstacles and distraction in the classroom, so determination will keep the educator focused on the task at hand. Lastly, an outstanding educator will need to be compassionate. School is where children go to get the tools and foundation needed to be successful and it should be a place that is enjoyable and safe. If a teacher is not compassionate, it will show, and the children and the parents will take notice which may slow or halt their

Those endowed with it may perform very good or very bad acts. All depends on the principles which direct them.” In other words, ambition is not only aspirations that will help people strive to their successes, but it can also fuel a dangerous desire that people will manipulate and use toward ruthless acts. Ambition, it is what alters something’s condition, creates change, and history. Ambition can be seen all through history, from Abraham Lincoln, to modern people; it occurs when somebody has a desire for something and furthermore tries and achieves that desire. Ambition can end both positively and negatively depending on the intentions of a mind, if one is trying to cause harm then it will be negative, but if they are doing something for a good reason, then that will be positive. But we also have situations where the intentions were good but ended up resulting badly anyways. For example, somebody may be ambitious to help the poor by creating more government plans that can help give shelter and food to the unfortunate, but instead it causes…

There are several qualities that an educator should possess in order to be an outstanding educator; however, one of the most significant qualities that an educator should possess is caring about his/her job. If a teacher does not genuinely care about teaching, his/her ideas and knowledge will never be put into place. MOTIVATION: I believe that teaching and learning are creative and very social. In order for classroom learning to take place at all, there must exist in the community a sense of order and rules. In order for order to exist, students must learn to become self-managers. I will need to convince my students that it is in their best interest to behave appropriately. I will need to convince them that good things will immediately happen to them if they make good behavior choices. In addition to motivation toward good behavior, I will often need to help motivate my students in their pursuit of learning. Providing motivation and persuasion are critical and highly gratifying parts of teaching. Even when my students come to school rested, well fed, and cared for by their parents, they may not necessarily come to school "ready to learn." Therefore, I will often have to motivate them, drawing on Skinner's theories of behaviorism and operant conditioning. Young children crave rewards and affirmation from their teachers. I must first establish a rapport with them and let them know that I respect them as individuals with unique needs and…
