I was born in Kerala, India, where my parents were unfortunate to find jobs. In search of a better future for my family, we fled to the United States. At the time, I was only six, and the challenges were drastic, but I didn't give up. All that stood to me was the better future that laid ahead. I overcame the struggles, and became the person I currently am. Coming from a not well-educated family, my parents want my brother and I to receive the best education possible.

I enjoy working with others and sharing ideas. I also think I am a strong fit for this program because I’m a hard worker. I have great work ethics which I believe is a skill factor for becoming a Scholar. In general, I have the potential to work hard in every aspect of education and life.
I want to be a part of the Schuler Scholar program because I believe it will help my family financially. Having two kids going into colleges at the same time will be very demanding for my parents to handle. If I’m am accepted into the program, I know it would ease the tension among them. I wish to participate in the Schuler program because, in short, it would be one of the fulfillments of my dreams. I want to become a Scholar because I know it will help me get into one of the best colleges, to achieve my dreams. It would also enable me to work in an environment with people who share diverse interests. Beyond my desire to become a Scholar, I’m very excited to be surrounded by culturally rich and unique personalities. I’m hoping for a brighter and healthier future through Schuler and I can guarantee, it would be one of the things in life I will most care
