Essay On Response To Intervention
Response to Intervention can be used in two different ways in a preschool. First, it helps children to avoid scholastic failure. Second, it provides by observation and overseeing each student to see if they have autistic behaviors early on. This is vital for children that as educators we help them not just scholarly, but also observing if they have a disability. Both affect them in their learning and the RTI process helps educators in both scenarios. The reason for RTI is because children who have special needs, or behavioral issues will have a hard time learning and they could have developmental problems later on in life if not approached right away. Which I believe as an educator you want to see the symptoms early on, rather than later on when it will be harder for the student. The difference between children in preschool who have the RTI model vs. school age children is their problem solving process since preschoolers are still developing in that area. It is critical that children who have challenging behaviors as well as autistic behavior that their families are involved in the process. The first one is Tier 1 and at this tier the educator uses this to study information in a curriculum. Tier 2 the children have educational coaches who guide them. If the child is not showing improvement then that child will be transferred to a higher tier of intervention. Data is gathered on the child’s improvement. Then in Tier 3 the child has an extension in their intervention and is more detailed. If the child still does not show improvement then they are to have a complete assessment. The article talks about the reasons why preschools should have an RTI program is because it is supportive of positive management, teachers should have a plan to explicit positive behavior amongst the students, constructive evaluation should happen two or three times

    Assessment and identification are key elements in education, in particular, special education. Assessing students is essential to knowing where to begin with a student. No matter what the student's ability is or is being, they all need to be assessed. After the assessments are done and evaluated, a teacher should have a better understanding of what level of performance the students are in the classroom. More than likely not all students will perform equally. The child needs further identification, a teacher needs to initiate a meeting with that diagnostician and get the students started in the Response To Intervention (RTI) process. The child is identified and then an IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) is created at and ARD(Annual Review and Dismissal) meeting.     This is a famous Pepsi commercial, known for the famous song "We will rock you" of Queen, covered by the trio powerful singers of America, Beyoncé, P!nk and Brittney Spear, also with the appearance of the famous Spanish singer/actor Enrique Iglesias. This video is rather plot like, very excited, very inspiring, with the setting of citizen, kings and queens and gladiator under the Coliseum of Rome. The three female gladiators were put up to fight each other (Beyoncé, P!nk and Brittney Spear) for the entertainment of the King (Enrique) while he was drinking Pepsi. The crowd-citizen doesn’t seem to like him, as if he is a tyrant, and therefore there were judgment for him everywhere. This advertisement company did made a nice comparison, comparing the possession of the King's Pepsi is like a possession of gold that causes the angry mob, especially it was a hot sunny day for all of them. And so, to trigger the audience interest, when the three gladiators were unleash to fight, they give up their weapon and start singing We will Rock you, like an inspiring tool saying "Pepsi will rock you". Eventually, the lyrics was indeed powerful, " blood on your face, you're big disgrace, somebody got to take your hand and out it into place", all very fit the context of wanting to defeat the King. And when they did, the Pepsi just became a prize and everybody cheered, making Pepsi even more special. Furthermore, Pepsi represented the breakthrough of monarchy; emphasize the individualistic powerful personality that Americans believe they have. Focusing on the detail, not only the advertisement is remarkable in term of content, music and actors but the fact it was release around the summer time make it even more famous. The prognosis is very poor, and medical therapies have not proven effective. (Lovaas, 1987) He wrote a detailed article about a study and provided a close look at how the study was conducted. In this study, intensive ABA treatment was provided to one control group of autistic children under the age of 4, but minimal treatment was provided to the other control group.
