Essay On The Pros And Cons Of School Uniforms
Your school principal is considering a new policy that will require all students to wear uniforms. What is your position concerning this issue? Write a letter to your principal stating your position and supporting it with convincing reasons. Be sure to explain your reasons in detail.
Everyone in the U.S. would be better without school uniforms. They are not an advantage to schools. School uniforms are not something that should be a law in all schools.

If you think back to when you were a kid you'll remember that most of everyone hated wearing a school uniform. Companies that will benefit from the profits are actually spending a lot on marketing campaigns, as well as researches that prove uniforms to be advantageous (Mack Lemouse)
Secondly, uniforms can be detrimental to adult development. Impeding one’s freedom to choose can take a toll on his transition to adult life. Last of all, uniforms can negatively affect a student’s self-image. Uniforms fit people differently. (Listland) As in the case of girls, who think of themselves badly because their uniforms don’t fit them well..Fourthly, uniforms actually attract bullies!(Listland) The staggering results of numerous researches show that they do little to curb violence in school. If teachers want students to express themselves than school uniforms should not be permitted in schools in or out of the United States.
