All three of these faiths are monotheistic, they believe in the existence of one god or in the oneness of God. Muslims and Jews prominently emphasize the oneness and unity of God. The declaration of the oneness of God by Christians is occasionally misconstrued, because Christians believe that the one God is the Holy Trinity. He provides us with basic rules to live by, for example all three religions are similar in that they hate murder. Similarly God expects one to tell the truth and not take from others what doesn’t belong to you. Christianity, Judaism, and Islam all believe that we are to respect the worth of each person, especially those who are not skilled in helping themselves. The Golden Rule, do unto others as we would have them do unto us, is very important in these religions. Equally important is promoting modesty, self-control, and trustworthy work.
