Ethics and Cultural Diversity Sensitivity Seminar
Every two months in any major police department across the country police officers attend an ethics and cultural diversity sensitivity seminar. The seminar brings the officers up-to-date on ethics, and cultural diversity issues brought to the management’s attention along with future information. The ethics and cultural competency assessment test needs stop provoking with no right or wrong answers to find the best officers in the department. Ethics and personal behavior defined as part of police officers everyday life.
Ethic Behaviors Ethical behaviors defined as the ethical concepts a police officer uses in the difficult decisions made every day. These difficult decisions become some of the toughest tests an officer deal’s with daily. Public trust and confidence ensures that police officers have the highest integrity of honesty, and truthfulness. Police administrators use the ethical and cultural diversity sensitivity training to ensure that police conduct standards remain at the top professional level and does not erode public trust. Police officers trained in ethics, cultural diversity, and sensitivity become well prepared, more confident, and better equipped to meet the needs of the community as well as their own personal and professional goals. This understanding into cultural diversity and the concepts used by police departments to work with the community action programs to understand the people (Rodriguez, 2009).
Ethics and Cultural Sensitivity Test The learning objectives of the Ethics and Cultural Sensitivity Test defined as becoming more culturally understanding and ethically responsible for the officer own actions. Each officer learns to stop stereotyping and prejudice, while at the academy and every two months after the hiring phase. The following test questions
