Success Magazine: The Perfect Tool to Build Success

I have been an avid reader of this magazine since I was in my early forties and since then, I have read the magazine on and off for years. When I decided to pick up the latest issue to see if the magazine was still up to its high standards, what was found did not come with any surprises: after all of these years the magazine is still excellent. The March 2013 issue of Success Magazine is a great representation of the magazine because it features an organized yet eye catching layout, it has appropriate content for its entrepreneurial audience, and features an affordable price that is well worth the money spent toward an education and a vision of success.

As preproduction work, I have created a magazine cover and its content page featuring the film I have “produced”. A film magazine actually plays a very important role in marketing the film. I’ve learnt that a film magazine should be carefully designed and planned so that it attracts the target audience and their age range, which I have decided particularly. The film magazine can help to “sell” the film because it has a wide target reader who would buy and read it. If it is not appealing enough to the audience, then the magazine would not be successful and, as result, the film featured in the magazine would hardly be successful too.…

GQ's cover always appealing. The look of the text, the length and size of it counts towards making the magazine look good. The text on the cover is short, easy to read and to the point as well as being very dominant. This lures readers into buying the magazine because since the information is bold and to the point the cover gives the facts to the reader in a fast and easy way to make the temptation of buying the magazine greater but if it was a small sized text, with lots of information that carries on and on then the reader would lose interest and not bother to read let alone buy the magazine.…

Most people measure success monetarily. We spend the majority of our lives working towards success (“Defining success”). The word “success” is defined in the Merriam Webster dictionary as the attainment of wealth, favor, or eminence. Individuals who would be considered successful in this generation are Kim Kardashian or even Justin Bieber. These celebrities simply live in the moment, without thinking about what their goals are. Everyone wants to be known for something. Success takes several different forms but because of societal issues we have lost sight of its true definition. I believe in people who immigrate to America; they have the same dream-“American Dream.” The people who have the “American Dream” surely believe the U.S has meritocracy, which means they aware that there are plenty of opportunities to be successful in America if ones have good work ethic, put in their full effort to their careers, have an open-mind set, and willingly catch up with the newest technology, they can be successful. Unfortunately many people still stubbornly think success is mostly not due to merit, instead believe these elements such as luck, wealth, family background, or even races. Overall, I never see anyone who is lazy, laid-back and careless can be successful, but I do see people who work hard,…
