One was French CEGEP (Lionnel-Groulx) and the other was English CEGEP (Vanier). We gave our surveys to around 75 athletes and 25 non-athletes, 50 males and 50 females. This research was interesting to have athletes from all different sports so we went to different practices in the two different CEGEPs and distributed surveys. For the non-athletes, we just walked into the cafeteria and have my survey to every 1 out of 5 students, asking them prior if they were participating in any team …show more content…
Also, coaches may realize that sometimes the work load is too heavy for these athletes and they might want to give them time to study, or at least follow the athlete’s progression and make sure that they keep good grades. Here are few advices and suggestions for future research; it would be interesting to look at this topic and focus on the difference between male and female, or the difference between Québec and the rest of the world.
