Every day we are witnessing globalization effects on economy, information and technology, the system of government etc. So those effects inevitably leads to the globalization of culture which is, in my opinion, one of the main reason for the anti-globalization movements of resistance, that oppose globalization in a bid to safeguard their threatened peculiarities. It makes a problem because many world nations aspire to a globalized world, but with some limits so they would be able to preserve the diversified identities of its inhabitants and be part of, at the same time unified and diversified world. Opponents of globalization maintain that globalization has gone beyond the economy and that now it affect all walks of human life and now targeting national and individual peculiarities. They argue that identities and specificities are also being targeted and set to be globalized and they complain that real objective of globalization is to reach a single standardized humankind.
Globalization critics do not see globalization as the means to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor and between economically developed communities and those aspiring to development. They believe that globalization will only reshape the globe, according to whims and wishes of wealthy nations. They see globalization as effective way to push the majority of the world’s population into more exclusion. Opponents of globalization consider it as a new form of occupation, not a political or a military one, but rather a financial occupation that imposes a uniform type of thinking and erases all national historical heritages. They believe that globalization should be more fair and human based on balanced world economy and more in interest of developing countries.
