Example Of Argumentative Essay On Thanksgiving
Pardoning Turkeys on thanksgiving!!!

Many presidents like President Obama and John F. Kennedy are pardoning the turkeys that they get on thanksgiving but many people think that's a bad idea. People go hunting a couple days before thanksgiving and shoot turkeys. It's a tradition to eat a turkey on thanksgiving. The pilgrims ate a turkey when they first got to america. The pilgrims are a good example.

Turkeys are meant to eat on thanksgiving with stuffing and pie. Without a turkey to eat on thanksgiving, it's not the same. Turkeys don’t do anything, they dont eat animals they help our environment so what will happen if we eat them. Turkeys are a traditional thanksgiving food that we will still eat for several thanksgivings that come.

There are certain requirements a novel has to follow in order to be considered a “timeless classic”. Two required criteria are powerful themes and dynamic characters. Providing complex themes forces the reader to think and provides a takeaway from the book that they can find useful in reality. Dynamic characters allow the reader to expect change which keeps them hooked in. “To Kill A Mockingbird” is without a doubt a timeless classic because of the meaningful messages it provides and its dynamic character who undergoes stark changes by the end of the novel.…

You're thrown down hard onto an old rotten stump, dazed you look up and see a shiny object hurtling down towards your head then, *thwack* and the world suddenly turns dark. This is the life for millions of turkeys on Thanksgiving. Every Thanksgiving forty-five million turkeys are mercilessly slaughtered and that's only on one day and twenty-two million turkeys are killed on Christmas. The audience I would try to reach in regards to an alternate version of my persuasive essay would be the governments of the world that have taken advantage of America’s passivity in the world, such as China and Iran. By having them as my audience, it would send a message that America is not going to be a footstool anymore, and that whomever tries to step on or over will be dealt with accordingly. By seeing my work, maybe it would prevent them from taking specific courses of action because they too believe Donald Trump will bring peace through strength. While it could have the opposite effect on the intended audience in its persuasiveness, it would nonetheless get them out of their comfort zone and possibly rattled. I just hope that it does not go in the opposite direction intended, and create a situation where a country bans my alternate version, saber rattles America itself, or boycotts American products or people. They would find my work in multiple mediums, from underground newspapers, internet ads, and at film festivals.…

    1. TCO B. Infuriated when Harry Reid is re-elected during the 2010 fall election, the Republican National Committee decides to take matters into its own hands. In 2011, the House of Representatives passes a new "Freedom isn't Free Act" that requires that anyone who wants to vote in the 2012 presidential election must prove that they paid at least $200 in federal income tax in the past year, including people aged 18 (who typically are deducted on their parents' returns and do not pay income tax). Anyone who received the "earned income credit" is barred from voting unless they return the payment from the government. Proof of payment of the tax can be made by showing a copy of the prior year's W2, a copy of the prior year's tax return, or a signed statement from the IRS stating that the payment of more than $200 in federal income tax has been made. Citizens who do not pay taxes can still vote if they donate $200.00 to the federal government as voluntary income tax and get a statement from the IRS that they have done so. The law sunsets on December 31, 2012. List two bases under which someone impacted by this law could argue to have the law overturned. (Points : 15)…

It was a regular day. Cleaning, cooking, caring for the young. Displaying and obeying the role of a women. I longed for some excitement. Alast, in September 1864 I thought I found the excitement I felt so deprived of. Confederation. The thought of being involved in something important was splendid. I thought of different ways I could intertwine my knowledge to support the idea of confederation. Although I was in favour of Confederation, I didn't have the political right to broadcast my opinion. Being a women had its cons. No matter how effective my words were, they didn't matter. Mens words would always overshadow mine.…

A religious Experience is an experience of the divine . Religious experience can be divided into many categories and it depends on what philosopher you agree with as to what categories you would decide on. But the main undisputed categories are; corporal experiences, which are experienced by a mass audience, vision experiences, which are when people see God, Hell or Heaven in some sort of semi-conscious state like meditating and conversion experience where their experience has lead them to have a change in belief. I am going to argue for the statement as even from a religious point of view there are many other factors which can explain religious experiences like hallucinations or coincidences. But the main undisputed categories are; corporal experiences, which are experienced by a mass audience, vision experiences, which are when people see God, Hell or Heaven in some sort of semi-conscious state like meditating and conversion experience where their experience has lead them to have a change in belief. America’s public schools are woefully underfunded. As state legislatures around the nation focus on reducing spendings, education spending is often the first to go. And when these public schools are confronted with a dramatically smaller budget, art programs get the axe. As the Chicago Sun-Times report in 2013, Chicago Public Schools laid off over 1,000 teachers when they made the decision to close over 50 schools. Nearly ten percent of these teachers taught in the arts or music. As ThinkProgress writes, this is a national phenomenon-- Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles are all cutting their public school arts funding in order to cope with budget shortfalls. In fact, the government is offering so little support for the arts that the private organizations are having to fill the gap. This low funding is a national catastrophe that has the potential to lead to the decline of American culture and education.…
