Lisa is adjusting to her new living situation. She expresses that she made the move to Pittsburgh from San Diego because she has more support in Pittsburgh. She explains that she would like the therapy to be more resource based so she can stay on top of the changes happening in her life. She is the middle child of four children. Her behavior may stem from her childhood. Lisa was comfortable giving up everything to move back with her mom so i wonder what about that relationship makes her feel so secure. She spoke about how her mother and her little sister will help her with her son but she doesn't take into account how they have to change their lives to accommodate her moving to pittsburgh. It seems as if the family supports her dependance. She speaks of all the good that will come with moving back to pittsburgh but i don't think she rationalizes the struggles that come as well. When I asked her about anytime that was rough while living with her mother she over steps it with a cliche answer. I wondered if her reaction was because of the newness in our relationship.
