Example Of Sequence Essay
Sequence:

Although sequence is something that I use as needed, I feel as though I use this everyday. I make list during the day of things that need to be done at home, and work. I use this first on regards to school work, I list out what needs to be done and when it needs to be in. I use this as needed when I am at work, because when dealing with kids you can only plan so much before plan fall apart. I completely avoid this when dealing with my son, there is no planning or list making with a one year old.

Precise:

I am in constant use of precise, I constantly ask questions, and take notes. I use this first when I am not sure how to do something or do not quite understand something, like when something new is introduced at work. My goal is to ask until I completely understand. I only use as needed when I already understand the subject. I

Like at work when talking to parents, I went against what my director said and I passed out a letter describing my classroom and how learning works in there and after I did it she loved it and so did the parents. I use this as needed in everyday life since I have a family I can only take so many risks. I avoid this when the time causes for a rational thinker, like when I had to choose between two jobs I needed the one that gave me a discount on child care.

Sequence: Reflecting on my day to day activities, I have come to see how much of it is governed by sequence. From waking in the morning, completing my activities through the day, and preparing for bed. Everything I do though out a day is organized the same as any other day, with a few minor exceptions. To sum it up, I use sequence far more than my LCI score indicates, although organized disaster is most likely the modifier that brings down the average.…

I use the advice you gave Dan almost every day. I get teased about my schedules. I just asked my daughter to tell me what we have to get accomplished by ten tonight. She gave me a list of things and I wrote them down. We worked together to plan the order of events to make sure everything gets done. Both of my girls write out list when there are multiple tasks to complete in a day. This shows that it is a learned behavior for those who do not use sequence at a use first level.…

I learn best by following directions, asking lots of questions, making lists, and using methods that I have succeeded at using in the past. My learning pattern scores are as follows: Sequence 30, Precision 30, Technical Reasoning 20, and Confluence 17. I use Sequence and Precision on a use first basis, I use Technical Reasoning as needed, and I avoid using my Confluence learning pattern. As I take in the world around me, I have noticed that I am always asking for an exact way of doing things (Precision), and that I enjoy following recipes and step by step instructions (Sequence). When anything involving the Technical Reasoning learning pattern pops up in my life, I have to have some type of guidance or directions to get it done. Once I have received the guidance needed, I can complete the task just fine. I have also noticed that anything that happens that is unexpected (Confluence) or unplanned in my day to day life stresses me out a lot. Now that I have taken this class, I can stop and say “hey, that situation just called for me to use my Confluence learning pattern.”…

In his Lecture XXV entitled Eloquence, or Public Speaking—History of Eloquence—Grecian Eloquence--Demosthenes, Hugh Blair provides us vivid explanations of what eloquence is, how to acquire eloquence, degree of eloquence to his observation on rhetoric throughout history. His exposition simply makes me wondering one simple question on who takes the most benefit of eloquence. Is it politician? Orator? Or all of us? Such question brings me to begin observing and scrutinizing what is in the surrounding. Look at those who run for US president, for example. Aren’t they doing eloquence with the final goal of gaining votes, which is in the long run ‘rising to influence and power’? By providing solid argument, clear method, and a good sense, people like Trump and Clinton are trying to satisfy the American citizens’ understanding of their proposal. Such fact is underlined by Blair’s observation on the Grecian Republics where he wrote:…
