BACKGROUND: This is to present problems, a SWOT analysis, solutions/ recommendations, and 50 things learned from the movie REMEMBER THE TITANS.
-------------------------------------------------

PROBLEMS: About the struggle for the position of FOOTBALL headcoach between a newly-assigned black coach and the current coach as a result of the desegregation of T.C. Williams High School and also how they manage their players, THE TITANS, who also face everyday challenges of racial conflicts while trying to be the best high school football team in the State of Virginia in the 70’s. The problems are: 1. How to erase racial prejudism towards other people? 2. Do we need peer pressure when choosing new company? 3. How to work with people you do not like or afraid of. 4. What strategies to use to become a winner? SWOT ANALYSIS: WEAKNESSES
- Pride between coaches and between players sometimes take-over
- Left-side of the team’s defense needed to work on
- Passes and tactics are easily read by the opponents

THREATS
- Racial prejudice
- Racial discrimination
- Strong opponents in the game
- Peer- pressure
- Pressures from the school officials ( to win games)

OPPORTUNITIES
- Forceful coaxing and rigorous athletic training
- Recognizing/ Reflecting the weak point of the team
- Footage of other team’s games are shared and reviewed for better tactics on the defensive and offensive side - Setting for higher goals with the team
STRENGTHS
- Racial harmony within the group
- Athletic-aspirations
- Captain who knows how to lead a team
- Good values like sportsmanship, humility as well as fighting spirit and aggression towards winning. - Strong support of the community - Equal
