Conservatism, modern liberalism, and socialism are all distinct and different ideologies however they were all developed in relation to each other. Liberalism developed from intellectuals in the eighteenth century and the economic leaders readily adopted the ideology for the reason that it would help them make more money. Conservatism developed as a reaction to liberalism, liberalism challenged the existing social construct and conservatism counteracted that. Conservatism was made of the people who wanted to keep the existing social arrangements. Socialism developed from liberalism it retained some of the main ideas from liberalism but it wanted more government interaction and assistance for the working class.
