Figurative language is utilized in both writings "Huswifery" and "To My Dear and Loving Husband"; in any case it is expressed differently. In "To My Dear and Loving Husband" the author communicates her affection towards her better half in a peculiar curt and dull way, utilizing not very many cases of figurative language. For instance,“I prize thy love more than whole mines of gold,” (5-6).
