Lust is perhaps one of the deadlier sins because of how little time for this vice to grip your weak mind. Lust is evident in the things we do everyday, our actions can be shaped by this vice. It is a safe thing to say that everyone is not protected by this offspring of the devil. This vice is evident in society, corporations, and movies that we have read ever since we were the age of three. Lust is evident in society today because we say and do things for someone or something that we have the slightest affecting for. In the newspaper article "Lust for violence; Noises of Society Drowns out healthy Messages to youths in summary is how today kids lust for violence like terminator or a good fight to watch. In the text Dr. Cheng stated, "About 40 percent of boys and more than 20 percent of the girls said they participated in some form of violent behavior." Many corporations take the post office for granted and in 1997 the head postmaster Robert V. Rota;was sentenced to four months of jail time for embezzlement. She was caught on the premise of having misused postal funds to distribute 20000 dollars of funds to her personal bank account. The newspaper article stated that, "The two officials helped cover up a massive embezzlement and money-laundering operations in which Democratic Congressmen illegally pocketed cash received in exchange for government issued postage stamps. This happens to show how people lust over money and what they will do to touch that money. Corporations have wanted money which corrupt their morals as corporation.
