This tragic event contributed to all these silly little things, believe it or not. It was the first time America realized that terror could strike at any moment.
This tragic event started as what was believed to be a freak accident. An airplane crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City. People didn’t make a big deal of this situation at first. They thought it was just another plane accident. However, when another plane crashed into the same sight just eighteen minutes
later, people began to realize that this situation wasn’t just another freak accident. It was a plot to bring terror to America.
Now, this is an event that people don’t like to talk about often. Yet when they do, it brings sorrow to their hearts. However, I think this day should not be about sorrow, it should be about honor! To honor all the great men and women that sacrificed themselves to protect our country! All those firefighters and military officers who saved others by taking their own life! All those innocent people we remember! This day should not be about grief, it should be about those we loved and still remember, those who deserve honor, and those who were in this event and earned the title of survivors!
