Nine 11 Video Analysis
I learned a lot about nine-eleven from the video that I had not known before. The video that we watched was truly eye opening to the evilness of was happened on nine eleven, and I am thankful that I could watch and learn from it.
The first thing that I learned was that the attack had been more than ten years in the making, which is quite a long time. I had not known about the truck bombing of the towers. I learned a lot more about Osama Bin Laden than I had known previously. I learned that he was actually very wealthy, and more or less founded the Al Qaeda. As well as how in 1996, Bin Laden wrote a declaration of war with the US.
The video we watched was very eye opening. The part of the video that affected me most was the time between the

The amount of people who lost their lives that day, surprised me a whole lot. I had never really understood the evilness and amount of death on that day, and learning about it was almost frightening.
I chose to interview my dad about his experiences of nine eleven.
My dad first heard of the events of nine eleven on nine eleven. He was working at his job when he hear of the events. His first thoughts were, “We’re going to be at war with somebody”. What he remembered most was, going outside and seeing the westboro baptist church protest in downtown topeka holding signs that said, “God Hates America,” and having to hold his friend back from running down the street and beating them. He remembered feeling concerned for my Grandma and Aunt, who had just recently traveled to New York City, fortunately they had just returned the day before. He responded by watching it unfold on TV, he said that no work got done for the rest of that day. My view and my Dad's view of the events of nine eleven are about the same; we both think it was really bad. My Dad remembers it happening and feeling the evilness of that day, were as I watch it happen many years later, but the feeling of hatred still

I was 3 years old when the 9/11 attacks happened. At the time, I was too young to remember or to understand what was going on. When I became old enough to know what happened, I got scared because I thought that there could be another terrorist attack any day. I think that security should be a little better at checking people at airports considering the hijackers easily snuck weapons past them. All in all, I feel bad for all the families who lost loved ones. 9/11 was a tragic day in…

Hearing the event from the perspective of a person who wasn’t directly affected or near the crash introduces a whole new type of experience. People, who like my parents, only received notice of the crash because of a family member they had no idea was in any kind of danger. My parents, at the time, weren’t aware of the importance of the Twin Towers or this possibility of a new worry of terrorism. They were able to be reassured simply by the fact that every loved one in the U.S then was okay. This particular perspective added to my knowledge of the personal experiences of the event, how the impact of the event can immediately increase because of a loved one being involved. Another detail from the interview that added to my knowledge was my mom…

Almost everyone who is asked, who had witnessed the attack, can remember where they were or what they were doing that day when they heard the terrible news. At 8:45 in the morning, a hijacked jet crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center. People all over thought it was an accident until the observers saw a second plane crash in to the north tower of the World Trade Center. It is horrifying to watch those clips over and over on the television and on the Internet. By 10:30 that day, both towers had crashed onto the streets below. About half an hour later, another hijacked plane crashed into the Pentagon. Then, ten minutes later, another plane crashed in Pennsylvania, because the passengers on that plane had tried to stop the hijackers, and had made the plane crash. Because of the bravery of these people, many lives were…

It was a normal September day. I was 14 years old and had just arrived home on the school bus with my sister from a long day at school and was looking forward to skateboarding and playing with my dog. When I opened my front door I came in to only find my mother with a look of nervousness in her eyes as she stared at the t.v. (1-channel, Haun 4). There was a building on fire and the man on the news was saying the words “terrorist attack” over and over (2-linear transaction, Haun 3). We were living in England at the time so we didn’t have to deal with school being let out early and all of the rest of the chaos that people back home did. All we could do was watch and listen to what people back home were saying.…

I don’t think any American can forget where they were when 9/11 happened. I was going into my history class when I learned about it. My teacher had the T.V. on even though the administration asked the teachers to turn the TV’s off. We watched it and discussed what was going on for the entire hour and a half that we were in the class. My teacher was very emotional and crying and so were some of the students. Some of the students were in shock and others were oblivious to what this meant for our country. I was emotional myself. This was such a tragic event and I didn’t think it would be an event that would affect my life the way that it did. I think I was too young at the time to truly understand the seriousness that would come out of the attacks of 9/11. This tragic event changed America in so many ways.…

When I hear the date "9/11" I rapidly drown in the saddest kind of nostalgic thoughts and emotions. Although many years have gone by since the devastating events of 9/11, its memory and the feelings it evokes remains immortal. In retrospect, I was five years old during the time of the attacks and I wasn't even living in the United States. Nevertheless, as I was too young to fully understand the magnitude of the attacks, seeing how an event that took place thousands of miles away from me had the ability to bring shock and terror to the people around me, I knew that something terrible had happened. Consequently, I saw some of the consequences of the attacks affecting the world around me. Primarily, I started seeing the the growth of an enormous…

Its crazy how a person can live with themselves after killing children and people and even being able to plan this attack for more then half a year. The scene that really impacted me was when the fire fighter said how when he looks at his own child he sees the kid that passed away in his arms, just crazy how it affects everyone not just the people and the families that were in the building. What really amazed me is how they where able to track this suspect down, and how well the different communities helped on making it possible. It took to days to stop this man and all it took was a car without a plate really shows that these people are not as smart as they think they are.Terrorism is everywhere we live in a free country and that makes it hard to detect terrorist, but we should never let our guard down because its here and it will always be here. This act comes to show that terrorist will do what ever it takes to try to get there point across and they do not care who it hurts. I do believe that anyone who commits a mass murder like the one in Oklahoma should be killed right away to set an example that the American population and government will not mess around with this kind action and will do what ever it takes to stop…
