Examples Of My Short Term Goals
My short term goals that I have set for myself will push me to my limits in my final year of high school. One of my short term goals is to be on the Top Ten Students list, for outstanding, academics, at my high school. I have received this award the past three year of my high school career and I want make this year the fourth time. In addition, to the Top Ten list I set a goal to graduate high school with a 4.2 GPA or higher. I have set a short term goal to apply to as many scholarships as I can to pay my way through college. Scholarships such as the Chief Manuelito Scholarship, the Gates Millennium Scholarship and many other scholarships. Starting with my short term goals they share similar characteristics. Such as graduating with a 4.2 GPA will put me in the position of being in the Top Ten Students list. As well as the requirements to stay in the National Honor Society I will need to keep a GPA no lower than a 3.5; as well as required community service. The scholarships that I want to earn all require excellent academics, but also community service which play a huge part on what I am doing for my community. As for my long term goals they are similar to my short term goals or the short term goals are only pieces to building towards a bigger goal. The scholarships I apply for will aid in my achievement of paying for college with no help from my parents. Earning my Bachelor’s or Master’s degree I will need to perform outstanding in high school to be accepted to colleges to pursue my degree. In order for me to return to the Navajo reservation and give my people the best assist I need to go on to college. With college I will gain the skills and knowledge to found out what is best for my people and
